For a straightforward titanium prototype, machining typically takes around a week, and small production runs take longer — the exact date depends on complexity and current workload. Where the time actually goes

A titanium order’s lead time is not one number — it’s a sequence of steps, and each one has its own clock:

  2. Material (usually short). Because we’re based in Baoji — a titanium production hub — titanium stock is close at hand, which keeps material lead time short for common grades like Grade 5 and Grade 2.
  3. Machining (days). Titanium machines slowly and wears tooling, so machining time is where most of the clock goes. A simple prototype is typically around a week; complex geometry adds time.
  4. Inspection (included). Parts are checked against the drawing before shipping — we hold to the print.
  5. Shipping (on top). International courier with tracking, quoted and confirmed before you pay.
